Herman Kuhn

Licensed Agent

I began my insurance career in 1978 selling life insurance and annuities with Metropolitan Life.  Four years later I received my property and casualty license and began working with a local agency selling and servicing personal and commercial lines insurance where I remained for twelve years. In late 1994, I transitioned to working as an independent contractor and agent selling for Mutual of Omaha Companies life , disability, Medicare supplements, long term care and annuities and later received my series 6 & 63 licenses enabling me to offer mutual funds and variable products to my clients. At the same time, I was introduced to the Hentschel Agency where I continued to do my property and Casualty Business until 2012 when I joined the agency full time. I now handle Commercial and Personal Lines servicing the agencies accounts as well as new sales of personal and Commercial lines products and services.

Outside the office, I am a 30 year member of the Hampton Bays Fire Department where I continue to volunteer my services.
